Big news! I did not share this with many people but I lost my job in July and was faced with unemployment for the first time in over nine years. This was cause for some self reflection and I decided to pursue a role more similar to work that I enjoyed and excelled at earlier in my career as an individual contributor. This also allows me to return to competing in strongman, and spend more time with my family. I am happy to announce that I landed a role that is exactly what I was looking for and started today! Looking forward to the next chapter - climbing back to the top of the recruiting and strongman ranks. Thank you to everyone who helped me through this situation and along the way in both my athletic and professional careers; I am truly grateful for all of my friends.
