Big news in my life as a one-time Leeds supporter. Dean Tempest is getting married and is having a stag do football match with his mates and a few very old geezers like his dad and me. Old geezers include Dale Tempest ( Fulham, Huddersfield, South China), Dean Coney ( Fulham, Norwich), Gareth Tempest ( some Italian side) and me ( HKFC, German All Stars, Discovery Bay FC, Sunday Morning pub football and Driffield Secondary Modern School Team.) BUT who cares. The venue is at Elland Road with Leeds supplying the kit. Ive told Tempest I need to score a penalty onto the old Scratching Shed End where I saw Johnny Giles do it against Liverpool. If only I could remember what corner he put it in. There is a God.
