Big stout 9yr old AQHA gelding for sale. This boy stands 15.2hh, Mellow and easy going, great trail horse, crosses water, bridges, brush with ease, walks out well, no jig. No buck, no rear, awesome ground manners. Ties for days, great for farrier. Loads right up, even in a straight load, hauls great, no pawing in trailer, drinks and eats well on the road. Stalls good, no kicking or pawing walls, no cribbing or wood chewing. Good with other horses, not overly dominant, doesnt chew on, bite or kick other horses. Ponies other horses great, have used him to start colts, even when things get a little broncy, this gelding keeps his composure. He has been hauled and ridden in dozens of rodeos and events. speakers, flags, crowds are all a non event to him. He was breakaway roped off of consistently as a three year old, we have roped the dummy off of him but my skills are lacking when it comes to tying onto a cow. He would make an awesome queens horse for run-ins and parades. Hed excel in breakaway and possibly team roping with some refreshing/training. Super willing, has the power and muscle to leave the box with speed. Would make a nice pick up horse with some practice he has quick controlled speed. Hed make an awesome pack/camping horse, OHSET gaming horse or all around team penning/cattle sorting. Hed do well in a feedlot position, no problem opening and closing gates off of his back. He has had kids, dogs, you name it, under him, on him, around his legs, sliding off his back, he is gentle and kind. Has some experience on the barrels, been entered in around a little over a dozen amateur rodeos, has also won prizes and money in OBRA races and gaming shows. no gate issues, steps right up calm and cool. This gelding is sired by Fritz Command, possible setback to this gelding is I do not have his registration papers. His previous owners went through a divorce and he was sold as grade. You cant ride papers or breed a gelding so it was not a worry for me. Need to sell him in order to pay off some unexpected medical bills, my husband has to have surgery but the injury was not related to our horses in any way. not looking to make money off this gelding, asking less than what I paid.
