Big thank you to Julia who is helping Daniel to get back to work and to purchase his tools in his job as a mobile phone technician. He was employed in Lira and as he reported for work he found the boss had left, locked the business and taken all his tools leaving him absolutely stranded. Daniel was training in motor cycle mechanics but we found he had TB in his hip bone. After a struggle we found a hospital that agreed to operate for free and thanks to several kind benefactors his medical aftercare and the costs of our staff to be with him 300kms from home were covered. Daniel is now completely well albeit with a shorter leg. We have bought him raised shoes but you know he is a teenager and we are still trying to get him to understand the problems he will have in later life if he continues to limp. Now he is able to resume working and his confidence in himself will be raised again. Thank you to all of you who give these children chances that otherwise they could never dream of. xx
