Big thanx go out to David Witter for putting this recording and slide show together. I was 17 and a jr. in high school. I was the bass player. I still consider myself a bass player and only play guitar so Evil can play bass and we can be a 3 piece, seriously. some of the pics are from when I was 17 18 and 19. The recording was from 72 and done on an old reel to reel on quarter inch tape, never thinking Id hear it again in 2015 The Big Daddy Band, while not my first working band, was the band where we went from playing top 40 hits at high school dances, to thinking we were heavy, doing original music and playing biker bars and rough joints and my first road work around the Midwest, to exotic places like Minot North Dakota ha ha. David was a HUGE influence in my playing and what I thought was cool. Seeing these pics I so wish I hadnt sold all those guitars and amps. The memories of playing things like the Poynette rock fest and then having to go back to high school that Mon to start my sr. year are crazy. Playing The Mifflin st. block party in 73 holy cow. I had actually forgot about that till I saw the pic. Again thank you David, it was a hell of a ride for those kids in those pics.
