Big windy situation in store for large parts of Europe late this afternoon. The deep low that has been causing strong winds over northern central and northern Europe shifts further southeast. It brings gale force winds, gusting up to 80 km/h to Baltic states, Belarus, Ukraine and western Russia. Meanwhile, winds strengthen over Iceland, northern UK and the North sea, gusting at possibly over 100 km/h. This jet pushes into central Europe during the night, with winds up to 100 km/h expected in Germany, Piland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Hungary and further southeast in Romania.
