BigHawgs Sundy Mornin SEC WrapUp Yall all know by now that my Team Loyalties are of a Convoluted Sort. I know for you DieHards this is hard to get yo head aroun but it is jus who I IS! I was raised my whole life as an avid Ole Miss supporter. Then, by circumstance, I wound up as a 17 year old Freshman 500 miles from home on tha campus that is Home to tha War Damned Eagles. An, MahBabyGurl is ah Card Carryin Rocket Scientist with ah Masters in Aerospace Engineering from MSU. I sometimes get myownsef confused on which Teams Cheer I be yellin at tha top of my lungs! I pull for all 3, but, most avidly, its for tha Dawgs an tha Rebs. Egg Bowl Day I always have somebody mad at me. Ive loved this game and played it since I was knee high to a billy goat an in ah Organized Fashion from tha 6th Grade thru my Senior year of High School. Although from the get-go I was always a Starter, I did not have what it took to play on up to tha Collegiate Level. Ive always said the only reason they let me play was that I looked so good gettin off tha bus cause I wuz always ah GretBigOlBoy! Psychological WARFARE! Unlike many, I aint that big of a Football Fan, except for the SEC College Level. I dont watch Pro Ball often, or them other Wannabe other NCAA Conferences either that dont play nobody. In our 14 School Group, WE PLAY FOOTBALL!! Tha Real Meal, Down in tha Dirt, Live Breath an Die Pigskin Wars where on Any Given Saturday Any TEAM Can BEAT the Other! Every skirmish of SEC Teams against each other is like a WAR of Gladiators. In all them other NCAA Conferences, most games are purty much already decided before tha kickoff an are about as exciting to watch as watchin grass grow. Id rather watch two mules fightin over ah turnip! I simply LOVE it when Our Boys of tha SEC monopolize ALL tha Top 25 College Polls puttin tha Whole World on Notice of Who We ARE! With all that said, ill now get to tha crux of this diatribe. Let it be known that I hate tha Uppity, Nose in the Air, Arrogant, Damned Crimson Tide. (For that matter, I dont look kindly at them Damned Think They is Better than Anybody Else Orange Assed Volunteers or Gangsta Hoodlum Gators fum Down in tha Swamp neither)Due to that, las nite, I wuz pullin for Dem PurplenOrange CoonAss TiahGrrrs to maul them Pachyderms puttin them in their place. As badly as I hate Bama and as much as I wanted LSU to whup em, my heart and love of the SEC nationally was conflicted. Had the Tiger won, it would have knocked Crimson Tide outta tha Top 4 and contention for the 4 Game National Playoffs. Auburn had already succumbed yesterday afternoon in a tough game against Texas A&Ms Aggies, our newest member into the SEC Family. This loss had cost us SEC Fans another of the Top 4 seeds for the playoffs for NCAA Div.I National Championship. Back to something I said earlier, on any Saturday any SEC Team can beat the other. For this simple reason, our teams continually kick each other out of the Polls. While them other folks what dont play nobody keep on risin with better won loss records and stats. Tha damned polls should be handicapped based on tha sheer tuffness of a teams schedule! Lat nite, us fans across tha land were treated to One More Fine Example of OUTSTANDING Grid Iron Action put on by two excellent teams filled with talented athletes of the highest order. A Battle that ran past the agonizing final seconds of regular play into sudden death overtime before a winner could be declared. Without any Sunday Mornin Quarterbacking from me, I feel BOTH teams played some Damned Fine FOOTBALL last night! Were there some mistakes made? Yes! Were there some Miscues? Yes! Were there some wrong headed plays called? Yes! Were there some violations missed by the Refs? Yes! But, what can you expect in a Game of this type of brutal, physical intensity where each team member is giving every thing he has on each and every play in this 60 minutes of WAR between the Goal Post? Bama escaped with another win in Overtime allowing them to live on in the National Polling Wars one more week. The Tigers need to hold their heads high for a game well played that could have gone the other way. Come next Saturday, another SEC Showdown between the No.1 & No. 3 Contenders will be fought in Tuscaloosa on tha Playing Field of Bryant-Denny Stadium at the University of Alabama between the Crimson Tide (8-1) and tha Bulldogs of Mississippi State University (9-0). Tha Mighty Dawgs is gonna ROLL into tha Home of tha Red Pachyderms Hungry an Wantin. When they roll back out, they gonna be fat an lickin their chops after feastin on Elaphant Ass an wrappin all of TusCiLucy in MAROON & WHITE! Roll On, SEC an HAIL STATE!!!!!
