Bigfoot (1970). It was the first modern era Bigfoot film after Patterson-Gimlins film reset the stage from the Himalayas to the American Pacific Northwest. Prior, hominid films were mostly about Yeti over there, not Sasquatch right here. The P/G film made it possible to shoot stateside and/or not have to create Himalayan sets, like most Abominable movies did. Exploitation filmmakers could shoot in their own nearby forests and save a fortune (a trend which continues to this day). Joi Lansing was the Fay Wray substitute. BTW, this was John Carradines third cryptid movie. Hes not the only hat trick hominid film actor, either. Matt McCoy also was in three Bigfoot movies and so was Lance Henriksen. ;)
