Biggest lie Ive ever told my kids: daddys going to lie here with you guys for just a few minutes till you go to sleep, and then Im going downstairs. Of course all of you know I did no such thing....four hours later, after being all snug and comfy cozy between the two of them--Evan says Im a warm, cuddly grizzly bear and Aidan blows me air kisses for fifteen minutes before finally dozing off---I woke up not knowing where on earth I was...so I just said the heck with it, whispered to them to move over, and got a total of somewhere between 11 and 12 hours of sleep last night! Guess putting up two Christmas trees, cooking a beef stew and some cookies was a bit much, huh? Or maybe...old age--Im betting on old age! No more resting my eyes excuses!
