Bijit Sarma has sent us this. Having just collected money for Kashmir floods two weeks ago, I think we should try and do something for the floods in Assam as well... Suggestions.. The flood victims of Goalpara District, Assam, India need your support. Their homes were under the water level of flood for 6days. They have lost their everything. On the other hand, a few days before the Flood in Kashmir, flood destroyed Dhemaji, another district of Assam. And also damage Majuli, Assam(one of the bigest river Island in the wold full of cultural heritage) like every year. Actually Flood is an annual season in Assam now. The people of Goalpara need proper selter, Food and Cloths to wear mainly. They have lost everything including some family members too. Friends, they need your supports too. They need your help. They had to fight with flood and rain for 6days, from 21st September to 26th September 2014. Till now, they have got a little help, which is not enough guys. They need your help. Plz save Goalpara & Assam.
