Bike lane always seems empty; bicyclers still riding on the sidewalk or against traffic on the other side of the road. Cars exiting driveways cannot see oncoming traffic from cars parked one lane over from the bike lane; very dangerous. Bicyclers need to be more aware themselves; the law places the burden squarely on drivers, but that makes these bicyclers more reckless and less careful and wary. Like everything else Honolulu does, this has not been carefully thought out. And who exactly is even enforcing this? Also, great job in narrowing the already congested lanes of King Street and adding confusion and more danger to everyone who uses it. Lyle Maesaka
