Biker friends are the best friends to have. For the most part the brotherhood (and sisterhood) holds honesty, loyalty and a whole lot of love. We always hug each other and tell each other that we love each other, and we do our best to show that love. We work hard and we play even harder, and we have each others backs. We may fight among ourselves, but if youre not one of us, dont intrude. Show respect and youll get respect. We are this way because we never know when we will lose someone close to us. And inevitably we do, all the time. Usually because of drivers who arent paying attention. I came very close last night. Thank God I saw the guy pull out. He obviously didnt see me or just didnt care. Sometimes cagers have the attitude of, Theyre on a bike, theyll stop. It doesnt work that way. We get phone calls when we least expect it with the news we have lost brothers and sisters. If you ride, please ride safe. If you dont ride, please, share the road, put the phone down, wait until you stop to discipline your child. We have families and friends that love us too.
