Bilateral meeting between Malaysia - Russia delegation @ APPF 2015. Despite jet lagged and some of us having mild attitude sickness, bilateral meeting between Russia - Malaysia was held at 9 pm. MH 17, culture, education, business, tourism, infrastructure development, were some of the topics emphasised and impetus for moving forwards the good relationship between the 2 countries. Russia congratulates Malaysia for taking up the non permanent UN Security Council seat as well as Chairman of ASEAN this year. On the 70th anniversary at the end of World War 2, more attention should be placed on extremism, fascism, etc so that history should not be repeated. Also on the 70th Anniversary of UN formation, UN should play a dominant role on international affairs again instead of being sideline. Malaysia can do more with the newly elected position this year.
