Bill C-558 is a bill which aims to establish a non-partisan Parliamentary Science Officer who will act as a scientific resource for other PMs in office to help inform them on other legislation or bills so they can base their votes, policy and laws on scientific evidence. This will be a huge step forward in creating efficient policy that will offer results rather than policy based on biased opinions!
