Bill Johnson on peace Transcript- Theres not one part of our life that is worthy of hopelessness. It is almost like He says Im the God that comforts you - who do you think you are to not believe? Who do you think you are to be afraid? I gave you my Son, your taste of eternity - who do you think you are to live without hope? You know, lets be honest - look around you (not too long you might get depressed). Look around you at the circumstances economically, politically, ecologically: any area that you list or any way that you slice it - the enemy has succeeded at raising up the voices that best represent hopelessness. It is hard to find the voices of hope - Im not saying that theyre not there Im just saying that it is easy to find hopelessness. It has become politically correct to become hopeless, it is called discernment or so many things but it is not right. It is not Kingdom. Glory to God in the highest and on earth - thats the will of God : and on earth, peace and goodwill towards men. Peace - that prevailing atmosphere of heaven. Peace - that which touches soul and body. Peace - that which absolutely engulfs an individuals life that tames every bit of opposition that surrounds them. It is the Prince of Peace that crushes the prince of darkness under our feet. Why? That we can permeate with peace. Peace is not the absence of something. It is not the absence of noise or conflict or war - it is the presence of Someone. Im not here to announce the enemys victory Im here to announce his defeat, because hes been defeated already. We do not approach the Lord as though He is operating on a Russian roulette concept that maybe you may get a breakthrough occasionally if you spin things just right.
