Bill Mahr and Sam Harris are so right: Liberals are totally namby-pamby and chickens*** when it comes to criticizing the barbarity, inhumanity, and viciousness of the Islamic world. Today in the New York Times, mealy-mouthed liberal columnist Nick Kristof said the following ridiculous pile of piffle: Third, the Islamic world contains multitudes: It is vast and varied. Yes, almost four out of five Afghans favor the death penalty for apostasy, but most Muslims say that that is nuts. In Indonesia, the most populous Muslim country in the world, only 16 percent of Muslims favor such a penalty. Gosh, only 16 percent of those peace-loving Indonesian Muslims want to kill people for apostasy? Shouldnt it be ZERO, you lily-livered, namby-pamby moron? Kristof, who was also on Mahrs show last Friday when Ben Affleck lost his f***ing mind, proves EXACTLY what Mahr was contending. Folks, Im a liberal, but no one would ever accuse me of mincing words when it comes to calling fascists fascist or barbarians barbarian. Or stupid liberals STUPID. Respecting religion doesnt mean turning a blind eye to the egregious misogyny, brutal human rights violations, and barbaric acts done in the name of Allah. Or Jesus. Or The Great Pumpkin. Whatever. You dont get a free pass because I am, as a liberal, tolerant and respectful of your religion/culture. Screw that. Theres no moral equivalency to debate here, Ben Affleck. Either you accept the Age of Enlightenment, human rights, equal rights for women and gays, free speech, religious freedom, etc, or you do not. And if you dont, youre a f***ing barbarian. PERIOD. You know what, conservatives are right when they call liberals hypocrites. I totally agree.
