Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9. “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10. Fear is NOT of God. The devil loves to cause us to fear and worry about situations that we are facing. He whispers in our ear fear and dread. He tells us it will never get better, that we are doomed for failure and rejection in our situation. But “Jesus came to give us life more abundantly.” John 10:10. He offers us hope and makes a way when there seems to be no way! Friends, we must be careful to not allow negativism from media to cause fear in our hearts. We must continue to pray and stand in faith that our God is much bigger than what we hear and read about in the news. Have you noticed that you hardly hear of the good that is happening? People are being saved all over the world! Revival is breaking forth in churches all across America as well as countries throughout the world. We must keep our eyes on Jesus, our Savior. He is our hope and refuge in times of trouble. Whatever you are facing today, please be encouraged knowing that your Heavenly Father knows all is with you each step you take. He will lead and guide you, if you’ll only trust Him. He has EVERY answer you need, if you’ll listen to His gentle voice. Many are faced with decisions that are causing sleeplessness, worry, doubt, AND fear. God desires for you to surrender these emotions, allowing Him to handle the crisis you’re facing. He will NOT let you down! “Trust and obey, for there’s NO other way to be happy in Jesus…” “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do NOT let your hearts be troubled and do NOT be afraid.” John 14:27.
