Bill Nebeker & I were thrilled when Dennis Gallagher & the Prescott Western Heritage Foundation named him one of the awardees at their annual dinner on Sat. We were even happier to have our life-long friend & talented poet, writer, singer & keeper of western history & heritage, Sally Bates introduce Bill to the crowd. So many of those who also work to this same results & to raise scholarship funds, which this year went to Jordan Brambila. Among the in attendence were: Irene Winter, Cam & Kitty Smith, & Marty Borgelt with Prrscott Frontier Days, Shannon & Judge Rosenblatt, Travis & Julie Rushing, Tommy & Joan Meredith, Beverly Swanson & Patrick Aylward, Marvel Duane Steinbrink & his Rusty Pistols, Della Dixon, James Robb & Suzanne, Dr Ted Wickstrom, Jim & Barb Buchanan, Tana Kuykendall & the Mayor, Nancy Burgess who was introducing & accepting for Elisabeth Ruffner, Gail Steiger & Amy Hale Auker. I apologize to those I forgot to mention. It was a grand event.
