Billie Ripken showing off her ready set go. In the background you can hear children playing and running in her sight. Billie is independent and figures out things on her own. She likes things where she has to think and finds as much fun in them as in running around jumping after her favorite ball. We are teaching her control and when to release all that energy of hers. Not only does this teach her obedience but wears her out by using her brain. She is actually tired somewhat from this unlike chasing a ball. It has been very educational fostering a dog like Billie who is high drive, extremely independent, and high energy. She has just started being affectionate with us which is a huge step in the right direction. Sometimes fostering a dog takes longer than a couple of months, sometimes it takes a year. Sometimes it takes awhile for fostering parents to see the potential in a dog, like Billie, who was just a flying nipping machine, until Karen Decker helped us down the right road. Billie is looking for a home. One where she will be extremely active in Sport, or agility, nose work, or search and rescue. She has a great drive, hunts forever, and can go all day. She is extremely healthy, crates well, has never had an accident in her crate or in the house. She is available through Bellas Bully Buddies
