Billye Brim Blog December 8, 2014 Perth, Australia Our last night in Perth. How wonderful it has been with Pastor Margaret Court and her husband, Barry. Barry’s family of governmental and business leaders has been fundamental in establishing this state of Western Australia, and the entire country. Margaret is a tennis legend. Her biography (Winning Life) begins: Margaret Smith Court is without doubt the most successful tennis player of all time, amassing sixty-four Grand Slam titles. She won 11 Australian Opens, 5 French Opens, and 3 Wimbledon Opens in singles, 19 doubles, and a further 21 mixed doubles…21 Italian, German, and South African Opens in both singles and doubles. Pastor Margaret and Barry along with a marvelous ministry of helps staff have the very successful Victory Life Centre which includes all that makes up a church family, plus a Bible School, Community Services, and Missions. She kept me busy in teaching. And I enjoyed it. We had a 3-day Prayer Seminar. Friday night and 2 Sunday AM services on “End of Days” teaching. Last night, Sunday, was the official graduation service I came here to do. The Lord used Hannah to help me in the Prayer Seminar, particularly. And she ministered in the youth service, where the Holy Spirit was in evidence. Every bit of it was enjoyable! Anointed! And as far as I can tell, what the Lord wanted. There were so many “happenings” along the way. My birthday, Saturday, was a “free” day as far as church services. In the morning, a lovely couple from the church, James and Diane took us to an interactive nature park. At just the right time, some Koalas awoke, and Steve, pulled back a chain and allowed us to be up close and personal with them. We had already fed the kangaroos from our hands. In the evening, Margaret cooked a birthday dinner. She’s a great cook. And we had such a delightful time as she included her lifelong best friends, Helen and Anne, in a sit down dinner for seven. (Marika Court, daughter of Barry and Margaret was with us all along the way, and we so enjoyed getting to know her even better.) Barry saw to it that the menu included kangaroo steak. I took a few bites, but it was a little hard having just spent the day up close and personal with some of their kangaroo cousins. We have met many outstanding Christians along the way. Today was no different as we lunched with Vera Lim and heard of her work here and around the world. We left lunch sensing we may go with her to Indonesia, the Lord willing. He is so faithful to strengthen us. And I am so glad He turned my biological clock back 20 years! Tomorrow, Tuesday, we leave the hotel at 7:00AM. Fly 5 or so hours to Sydney. And then 11 or so to Honolulu. When I set up the schedule, I really did not realize just how far it is to Honolulu. There we begin The Book of Revelation Seminar on Thursday. Speak at churches on Sunday. And fly to Maui to speak at a church the following Wednesday. Sure do appreciate your prayer support. For I count on riding the thermals of Prayer the rest of the way as we have been riding them so far!!!!! Love in Him, Billye Brim Trust you are having God’s Richest and Best this Christmas Season. It’s a little different here seeing all the Christmas decorations in the Australian Summer. The other night as we approached a restaurant, we heard a recording of “Jingle Bells.”
