Bimmers Diary - Thursday, July 10, 2014 Dear diary, Guess what? Remember Mrs. Squirrels kids, Nuddy and Buddy? WELL, the younger boy, Buddy, has gotten himself in trouble. Betty the bunny told me that Buddy has run away from home! He shaved his tail and hopped on the trash truck last Monday when it came down the alley. Now Buddy has joined a gang of rats that live at the city dump. They call themselves the RatBrats and they accepted Buddy into the gang because hes good at climbing and because he knows our neighborhood so well...including the area near us that has the big houses (where the more well-to-do rats and squirrels live.) The RatBrats have renamed Buddy, who is now called Cruddy. Cruddy has pierced his ear and wears a beer-tab earring, plus he has been getting into some growth hormones he found in the sewer. Evidently Cruddy has bulked up quite a bit.....he seems to think his Dad (Mr. Squirrel) is still alive and living somewhere in or near the dump. Cruddy said he saw his dad get in the trash truck and has vowed to find him and get even with him for leaving the family to fend for themselves. Im glad poor Mr. Squirrel is at the rainbow bridge and doesnt have to deal with his delinquent son..... Betty the bunny said that Mrs. Squirrel has washed her bony hands of the boy and said good riddance. How RUDE! I think Mrs. Squirrel should never have had babies if she feels that way. Anyway, forget about all the gossip, because we are so happy that the Bambino Reid (Lourdes Bailey Gallardo Schmid) is coming to stay with us for a whole week! Were going to have a grand time with him and we are going to spoil him rotten...mummy said we could...but dont tell Aunty Lou. All of us have lots of things to teach the bambino including patrolling the perimeter of the yard, barking at people walking down the street and checking the doghouse for intruders. Turbo plans to continue with Reids dance lessons and Bentley said hes pretty sure those big beautiful eyes the bambino has can help us get extra treats. I hope hes right because we could use a little extra food around this place. The moral of this story: DONT shave your tail, it will only lead to trouble...
