Binter Milan Vs. Town & County 11/11/13 Final Result 7-9 It was a cold night at the Binterstadion but that didnt stop the hordes of loyal fans swarming into the arena to witness their beloved Binter battle against the odds. Last time these two sides met Binter were simply outclassed and suffered a humiliating 23-1 defeat. However, they simply would not let this be the case again as they tried desperately to take something from the game. Ultimately the the visitors took all three points home which was perhaps a little unfair on La Bella Binter who fought hard and matched their opponents every step of the way. An hour prior to kick off and things were looking bleak with a mere five players available for the big game. But being such a prestigious club the honour of pulling on the Binter jersey proved to attractive to youth team player Liamardo Shawberto who impressed with his dazzling skills on his debut. Tomato Burguera returned to the squad this time taking the role between the sticks and was joined by defender Jorgen Fritzhammer and Jamario Wrightello who made his debut against T&C earlier in the season scoring Binters only goal of the game. Regulars Jiminho, Roybinho, Smitteldinho and Woodowski were all present. Binter were subject to media attention once again as reporters flocked the team as they waited to make their way onto the pitch desperate to get a picture of the heroic warriors preparing for war. It was a tight contest from the kick off with neither side managing to break the deadlock within the opening 5 minutes. But as has become something of a tradition Jiminho opened the scoring with another left foot beauty assisted by Woodowski. Jiminho was then at hand to return the favour by setting up Woodowski to double their lead shortly after. The visitors came back in full force with two goals in quick succession before Wrightello and Woodowski netted to put the Bints rightfully in front again. However, maintaing their lead was proving to be a herculean task and thanks to a penalty the sides went in equal at half time. Binter enjoyed a stroke of luck when their opponents gifted them an own goal but this was soon nullified when Burguera returned the favour. From there on it was cat and mouse with neither side holding on to a lead for too long, Jiminho grabbed two more goals to complete his hat trick but ultimately it was not enough as the final whistle blew with the score at 9-7 in favour to the visitors. Despite not taking a point from the game the Bints proved they are more than capable of battling with the best with solid performances all around the park. Jiminho suffered another inconsistent game, while he proved reliable in front of goal his ball control was questionable at best with several passes seeming to elude him. When he did manage to get that crucial first touch he tormented defenders and linked well with his teammates in attack. One display of his magic saw him pick up a perfect through ball from Wrightello before taking on two defenders and slipping the ball neatly into space for Roybinho. With the goalkeeper fooled to the floor by Jiminhho all that was left for Roybinho was to tap the ball into the open net but as it turns out this was asking too much of a player who had no business being that far up the pitch. Woodowski played one of his best games of the season, while only finding the net once himself he was responsible for several assists and proved a nuisance to defenders. Fritzhammer also put in a solid performance at the back almost always getting the better of the T&C bastards. Despite conceding a penalty and being responsible for one howler of a goal Tomato adapted to an alien position surprisingly well making a host of crucial saves to keep La Bella Binter in the game. Roybinho wasnt always terrible. Binter Milan have now lost three consecutive matches but heads have not dropped. Jiminho stated The past three games have seen us pitted against the top teams in the league and they were never going to be easy, but the important thing is weve always given our opponents a run for their money. One must suspect that the team will be looking forward to their next match where they face off with G Casino who in their previous meeting the Bints beat with ease to claim their first victory of the season. With third place now out of reach the focus is to rack up the points in the final few games and secure the fourth place spot. Rumours are that Royfael Brownitez will be sacked if this is not achieved but confidence is high and there is no reason the Bints should not go on to win their final fixtures. FORZA BINTER!
