Position: Lab Technician Job description / Responsibilities: • Carries out routine dispensing and packaging operations following Standards Operating Procedures (SOP) and production procedures • Operates an automated dispensing and capping system for reagent manufacturing operation in a cleanroom environment Monitors system performances and conducts basic failure analysis Collaborates with the engineering group in troubleshooting system issues and maintaining system functionality • Supports cost improvement initiatives by reducing failures, improving efficiency, and using supplies wisely. Reduces work in process, queues, and cycle times • Supports chemicals in routine manufacturing activities, including but not limited to scheduled laboratory cleaning, glassware washing, and material management • Maintains general laboratory organization and availability of laboratory supplies • Completes all necessary documentation thoroughly and accurately • Carries out work in a safe manner. Notifies department head for any safety issues and risks • Completes training requirements on time • Performs related duties as required and/or assigned Requirements / Qualifications: • NTC3 or NITEC in Chemistry or other relevant discipline • Experience in working with automated machines is a plus • Experience in a chemical and/or biological laboratory environment preferred • Knowledge of ISO13485, ISO9001, or GMP is a plus • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and 5S is a plus • Physically fit and able to lift lab reagents as required • Ability to multi-task and to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment • Must have personal accountability for results and integrity • Detail-oriented individual Interested applicants are to send your resume to: Recruit_singapore@bio-rad
