Bio of the Week: I can still remember the day it happened like yesterday. Bash at the Beach 96. The day that changed wrestling forever. Scott Hall, and Kevin Nash were in a 6-man tag match against Sting, Macho Man, and Lex Luger. Lex gets hurt and now the WCW team needs a third man because the Outsiders had one waiting in the wings. Out comes Hulk Hogan of all people. Then it happened. Hogan turns and the birth of the nWo is complete. The faction was easily one of the most powerful in existence, as everyone was jumping ship to join. The group took everyone down, from Ric Flair, to Goldberg, to Roddy Piper. Unfortunately due to a multitude of contact issues and the like, WCW eventually was bought out by WWE and vast roster of the group was diminished. That however didnt diminish the influence the group had on professional wrestling. They literally changed the game.
