Biologics and worsening allergies? Member message: I am wondering if any one else has experienced existing allergies to certain things worsening after starting on biological treatment?? My allergies that were merely mild (plain old Benadryl fixed it) before treatment with biologics for most my life have become very unmanageable even with prescriptions. Is this normal or just a coincidence? Maybe part of the suppressing the immune system with the biologics? Thanks! Have you dealt with this as well too?
