Bioplastic Baits Update Monday, Oct 06, 2014 Alright, so the plan now is to take all this information weve got on the bioplastic baits and get it out to the public--originally the idea was to manufacture and get the baits out to anglers so at least they have a choice to help with cleaning up our waters and progressing towards the inevitable, but with the biodegradation rate of these baits, it was going to prove hard to keep the bait fresh, affordable and something that didnt leave those who are going to be using it with a bad taste in their mouth, or in this case, goo all over their hands and boats. The shelf life is about 1 month. To get it out to the anglers, there must be a platform from which they can get it, and the idea was bait shops, and the idea is still bait shops, but just in a different form and format. Since I cant afford to open a bait shop nor do I have the desire to spend all my time in a bait shop selling bait, Id rather be out fishing and gardening. I decided it would work out better for everyone if I wrote a DIY book and distribute that to the bait shops. What I am going to try, and I know very little about this, is writing a free instructional DIY book on how to make these baits, and try to get a publisher and businesses in the fishing industry as advertisers, and use the money from the advertising to fund getting the book out for free. But well see how that pans out when I start talking to folks in the publishing world.
