Bird update: Birds seen using the Balconeh to date: Annas hummingbirds (six-ish females, two males, and at least one juvenile) Black-capped chickadees (lots) Bullocks oriole (one young male, quite out of season) Crows (not sure, but they try to soak food in the fountain during hatching season) Dark-eyed juncos (lots) House finches (lots) House sparrows (two) Pine Grosbeak (one) Purple finches (at least two pair) Starling (one disheveled juvenile) Rufous hummingbirds (hard to say--a couple for sure during migration) White-crowned sparrows (one breeding pair, and one jealous male)
