Birding-- Arizona and the Southwest 11/27- 12/5 Whew!! Turkeys, if you are still with us, chances are you are SAFE for another year! Oh, no birder buds...not talking to friends here! Really, talking to the Turkeys!!--And I derail before even beginning--yikes! I must be wired...oops! That was weird! But, this week we will be searching for--- BIRDS ON A WIRE! Ok, you know so much of the time we avoid those human-made objects. Wires, Fences, buildings, benches, posts, STUFF!...but, our feathered friends very often choose these exact spots to rest their weary bones! So, post your best, fun, artistic images of birds and dont be afraid to include their thoughtful spots, even if its metal, concrete or wood--WOULD YA? Special thanks to our birder bud Dianne Pendleton Poore for our theme idea this week! **New Members--we have weekly themes. You can join in the fun or not--ALL Southwest Birds are welcome! Mammals, Bats, landscapes with a dot of a bird, your Aunt Sylvia holding a tweety bird....and Ray-BANs are NOT!! 3-4 posts per day max please to make room for all and courtesy to ALL is our motto! Check out the Files tab up top for guidelines and other great information. If you have questions Facebook IM me...the door is always open, or at least a window. Have a GREAT week everyone! **One of our favorite Wired-Birds! The American Kestrel, Buckeye AZ
