The Minister was addressing at the birth day celebration function of Swami Vishwatmanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj today at SVS Charitable Trust Shiv Kashi, Sunderbani. ` Shabir said that Shri Swami Vishwatmanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj is a great Sanskrit Scholar, a saint with Divine Powers, a reformer & a preacher in true sense, moving from place to place on foot to convey his message to the people suffering from innumerable miseries & agonies of life. He said Swami Ji in a true sense working meticulously for the last 30 years for the upliftment of the mankind. He is true philanthropist who has also been working for the cause of education. The Minister said that Swami Ji has set up not only an Ashram in Sunderbani but also has set up a number of educational institutions apart from Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya for mental upliftment of the ignorant & illiterate masses. Through the educational institutions Swami ji endeavors to lengthen the mental horizon of the people of the region, irrespective of the cast, creed &colour. He said that Swami ji left his family for the sacred cause and his Ashram at sunderbani speaks of his aesthetic & spiritual sense. While appreciating the role and contribution of the Swami Ji for spreading higher and professional educational facilities in Rajouri District, the Minister said that prestigious colleges of SVS Charitable Trust holds special status and has historic importance in the educational background of the State disseminating and imparting quality education to the students especially to the women folk, besides producing educationists, scientists and nation builders for last several decades. The birth day of this great swami was celebrated with traditional fervor and gaiety and Swami Ji was honored by devotees in a very grand manner in the atmosphere of Vedic mantras chanted by galaxy of saints and vidyarthees of sktMahavidayalya. This programme was followed by the cultural programme presented by various educational institutions of Sunderbani in addition to cultural items presented by SVS educational complex shiv kasha. On the occasion bhandara was served to huge crowed of devotees who came from all over the Country and aboard. The celebration also witnessed by various civil, police and political dignitaries of the State.
