Sometimes it’s because something bad has not happened and, at other times because something wonderful has. True joy, however, is not dependent upon what happens to you. Rather, it’s something God gives you. So what is joy? It’s God’s gift of love, forgiveness, healing, new beginnings and hope all tied up in one package. God’s gift that enables you to see beyond the difficulty of the moment and straight into the heart of God. And God’s gift that enables you to face real life infused with God’s grace. Joy doesn’t protect you from problems, failures or tragedy. It does, however, allow you to experience God’s ultimate reality even in the worst of times. So look out. Because God’s going to ‘joy bomb’ you today - regardless of what’s going on, even when it doesn’t seem possible and especially when you least expect it. #GodNMe
