Bismillahir-Rahma-nir-Raheem ((In the name of Allah, the beneficent the merciful) “And to Allah belong the best names, so invoke Him by them.” (Qur’an, 7:180) AL-WAHHAB………..(means) THE GIVER OF GIFTS……THE CONSTANT BESTOWER OF GIFTS.............. One of Allah’s Beautiful Names is al-Wahhab. ....Wahhab is an intensive form of Wahib (Giver). The root of this word is hiba, which means a gift. And because Allah (swt) is al-Wahhab, it means that He not only gives gifts once or twice, but He constantly does so. The meaning of the noble Attribute of Allah, ‘Al-Wahhab’ is so vast and immense, that there is no term in the English language which would do it justice! ‘Al-Wahhab’ is the One Who Bestows or Gives everything without measure, be it children, be it guidance, be it His Mercy, be it some worldly power or kingdom, etc. Allah(swt) gives abundant blessings perpetually. He gives all who are in need what they need, for no purpose other than giving and for nothing in return. He gives, in this life, to the deserving and the undeserving, to the good and evil. “Say: ‘Surely bounty is in the hand of Allah; He gives it to whoever He will.’” -3:73 If you want to be a companion of al-Wahhab, then remember to acknowledge His gifts, even if they seem to be minute, and to thank Him. Allah (swt) says, “If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor]; but if you deny, indeed, My punishment is severe,” (Qur’an, 14:7). The more we are conscious of Allah’s gifts to us, the more we are able to increase our love for Him, and recognize how blessed we are. Moreover, we should use His gifts in His way and in His cause. No one likes for their gifts to be cheapened. If Allah (swt) has given you a gift, do not use it for what He dislikes. If we do that, the gift in question becomes a test that we will be held accountable for. Recitation of Al-Wahhab Al-Wahhaab (The Bestower) One who recites this name 100 times after two rakats of Namaz will get all needs fulfilled. Recitation of this Holy Name is very beneficial to obtain repeated bounties. If one recited this Holy name 14 times in prostration (Sajda) God will make him rich. If one recited this Holy Name one hundred times at the last portion of the night with his hands raised recitation of this name many times make the person prosperous as well as popular in the public. Ya Allah Ya Wahhab, You are The Only Giver and Bestower of everything beyond measure, Ya Allah we ask You to Grant us your Mercy, Forgiveness and guidance, Ya Allah Bestow upon us Your Bounties.. .Ya Allah purify our hearts, Ya Allah purify our worship, Ya ALLAH, Save us From The Shadow of Evil/Shaitan , Ya Allah keep us in your loving care, Ya Allah Only You know what is Best for us, Ya Allah please grant us What is Best for us.........Ameen Ya Rabil Alameen.
