Bismillahirrahmanirraheem Alhamdullilah I officially announce my version of Pharrell Williams Happy song with a video will be released on Monday 25th August 2014 :) In my version I sing and explain why we as Muslims are happy to be Muslims :) It is also an invitation to non Muslims to research Islam by simply reading the Quran or spending some time with a Muslim they may know, it can be a Muslim colleague at work or a Muslim neighbour! Islam is not what the media portrays, I was born a Muslim and I have never in my entire life come across a fundamentalist Muslim figure the media likes to push regularly. Yes every religion or culture has extreme people but 99.9% of Muslims are happy, caring, respectful and loving people and in my version of the Happy song I will show this through my words and video InshaaAllah :)
