Bit hit and miss tonight with the lightning. Scored a nice bolt and moments after this shot I get a call from fellow Illawarra Stormchasers Chris Adams, who was with David Metcalf and they had been super close to this bolt near Mount Marshall... Best thing of all, Its a rare Smooth Channel bolt as you can see better in the crop. I say rare in quotation marks as its only been in recent years that smooth channel has become more widely photographed. Excuse the water drops etc, was shooting through the car window
