Bit of a long winded post and Ive hesitated before Ive posted it. Ive spoken to the PCSO this week, and she tells me that there has only been 4 reports of vehicle interference on our estate in the last month. Thats why I posted, asking everyone to comment if they have been affected. I myself, have reported 2 cars on one occasion and 3 on another being interfered with. I also know that a lot of others have reported. So Im struggling to see how the police have only 4 reports. I will be taking all the info I have gathered to the meeting tomorrow night. The police have suggested, that you may all be reporting crime to this page rather than to the police. But I do know several of you have rang the police. Can I please remind you all to do the following; If you see someone in the act of interfering with your vehicle phone 999, as this is a crime taking place. If you see on your CCTV, or have evidence of someone trying to interfere with your vehicle, phone 101 and obtain a log number. The police will allocate their patrols on the amount of logs they receive so its vital that everything is recorded with them.
