Bit of a mixed bag yesterday unfortunately. 18 games played so far this weekend and in the Premiership league there have been only 4 wins from the 8 games played for Arsenal, Sparta Prague, Derby and Schalke. There was a 2-2 draw for Dynamo Kiev and 3 defeats for Galatasaray, Salzburg and Barcelona who unfortunately were on the bet so that is now down. Things again are a wee bit brighter for the Championship selections with 8 of the 10 selections that have played so far winning (Preston, Dundee Utd, CSKA, Roma, Dundalk, Spartak Moscow and also Zagreb and FC Twente who are on the treble). Southampton and Shaktar are the 2 teams who got beat. This leaves Plzen as the final leg of the treble and if they win the bet will pay £10,314.04 and take the pot up to £22,553.27 so not a disaster as it would still be a profit of £2,314.04 over the weekend :-) Plzen kick off at 2pm and I will keep you updated.
