Bit of a sad night and a wee bit of a tear in the een. Sad to see the end of a Commonwealth Games which brought genuine fun, community, entertainment and excitement to Glasgow. Loved every moment, and hugely sad to see them come to an end. But even sadder to have left Glasgow today. Its been my physical home since 1999, and my spiritual home a lot longer. Ill miss it a very, very great deal and will be back at every single opportunity. Its a great, great city full of wonderful people, and I suspect Ill always be a Weegie at heart. Thanks to everyone whos shared the Glasgow years with me. I suspect well be back at some point. I miss Mother Glasgow already. For auld lang syne etc xxx
