Bit of a throw back here! after last weekends stone lifting I have rekindled my love for the manhood stones. For you who dont know the tradition, there are testing stones scattered all over Scotland that where used as the passage from boy to man and they are essentially the most primitive form of gauging strength, all strength related sports can trace thier origins back to them. The year was 2009 and my good friends Stephen Murray and Kenneth Nowicki followed me in a tour of Scotland to attempt these feats of strength. This is me and one of the most famous of them the Inver stone. People come from all over the world to attempt it and if you can lift it to chest height you are allowed to sign the prestigious book that is decades old.....me never one for doing things by the book decided to put my own slant on it!!
