Bitter sweet day today. Good day of fishing. Didnt catch a lot but Lauren and I put a rainbow each in the live well. Laena and Jessup got a lot of water time in and had a chance to be kids. Beautiful scenery, crystal clear water, with almost fall temperatures. Then about 3 this afternoon, along a peaceful stretch of the river, where a bald eagle and a blue herring graced us with their presence, the kids said their last good bye as I spread their mothers ashes as she asked. The kids had made their peace with it already so it wasnt a sorrowful occasion, although as their dad, I hope that they felt a since of pride and accomplishment knowing that they carried out their mothers wishes with dignity and respect as a faithful child should for their parents. I know that I am proud of them. Thank you Johnny and Betty Lewellyn for all that you have done for Sam and all of us. We love you dearly.
