Bitter sweet information I received today.. .went to do a business transaction today at a friends house.. whom I know since age 9... he told we that he had forgotten to mention something to me when I first came back to Argentina (2007). shortly after I left in 1972 and entered Deerborne.... a magazine article about me and soccer was published.... in short.. it said that I was one of the best all time ever young soccer players of South America... for the under 21 group..and I was only 16 years of age at the time... (did not start playing until age 9...2 years after I arrived Argentina from my native Queens, New York) hoping to be able to retrieve such article.... please keep your fingers crossed for me.. and you can bet that if I ever obtain the same... I will post...lol. To bad Deerborne did not have a soccer team when I was attending... when I finished at Deerborne I played in the Optimist League of the South Dade area.. I broke loose..... no one could keep up with me... was named League MVP... scholarships offers rom many universities in the USA. .I accepted Miami Dade South. .where I also ran track and wrestled... and then soccer at FIU..
