Bittersweet emotions as I leave D.C. after being here a week for ALEC and the Assembly of State Legislatures. I am so thankful that there are Legislators who still believe in Limited Government, Free Enterprise and Federalism. I was saddened when the protestors blocked the entrance to our Hotel on Thursday evening. I was overwhelmed by beauty and history as I visited the Museums on Sunday. As I am walking out of the room today, I hear Dianne Fienstein on Fox News and realize that Washington is broken. The only hope for fixing the federal government is in the states . . . the states who created it in the first place. . . and the states who should control the behemoth for their citizens. May The Lord strengthen us with resolve and wisdom to do it! It is the only way that Americas best days lie ahead. We really do have a rendezvous with destiny!
