John was such a good person, husband, father, and businessman that he saw no need to surrender his heart and will to The Lord. He was better than most Christians that he knew or dealt with in the business world. When May 31, 2004 came around, Joy, Janet and I went to spend the weekend with Daddy. When I came home John told me he had something to tell me. He told me that he had given his heart and life to The Lord, home by himself in the sun room, with no fanfare, no angel appearances, no flashes of lightning, no thunderings, but the sweet Holy Spirit dealing with him. Upon questioning him, it was on May 31, one year to the date and about the time Mama left for Heaven. God is good. So We also celebrate on this day ❤️
