Black Gold & Texas Tea Weekly Review Well here we are Late Friday night and what a great day it has been. It started off with a Conference Call With My Partner in Crime Albert Coccia and we got all of our ducks in line. And shortly there after I took my leave for the boonies of Greenfield Park ended up having to zigzag all over Churchill Blvd over to Fairfield back up to Regent and Down Empire Straight to the Legion by zig zagging around paving machines all the time listening to James Taylor and Sweet Baby James>>>. Well we just had enough time to unpack the Jams and Cream Cheese and then Steven Hines did a great job setting up and then shortly after that Albert arrived with the Bagels and it was Sharon and John who did all the cutting the toasting and the serving while some of the gang feasted on Shirley Chaif s diabetic cookies along with the boxes of Tim Bits. Well needless they say build it and they will come well today we had 91 members and guests. So in my opening remarks I introduced my self and Welcomed everyone to Black Gold & Texas Tea then looked around and I said where did all you people come from. Got lots of laughs out of that one. Well we had lots of visitors from our of town then some of the Players from the Mike Reid Baseball Tournament so they were standing talking sitting out on the balcony eating Bagels and Cream Cheese and sipping Coffee or Juice but everyone was just having a grand old time chit chatting with friends where ever they got to sit. We had our weekly drawing and we gave away a bunch of $10.00 Gift Cards to a Dollar Store and then a $25.00 gift certificate to Piazza Pazza and all donated by Irita Vanaga owner of Piazza Pazza with a big thanks to her for the Gift Cards and the Gift Certificate and also for her delicious Bagels. Oh and congratulations to Nicole for winning the Half and Half Draw which put $77.00 in her hands. Well I got to go home around two had a siesta and it was back to the Legion tonight for Naomi,s>>> Penne with Meat Sauce and Melted Cheese Salad and Garlic Toast and Desert and Coffee all for $10.00 and yes it was good and more enjoyable with the company we got to sit with. Well when we left and there was goings on in the GPK Arena who were hosting the Mike Reid Golf Tournament and some great hard hitting football being played on the adjacent field at 9pm tonight. So yes all in all was good day and Things had Unfolded as they should. Yes I am tired tonight but a satisfied tired. This is James and I am up in the Birds Nest in the Tall Oak Tree down in the Park by St. Charles A La Prochaine James @ 67 James Taylor - Sweet Baby James (Live: BBC - 1970) https://youtube/watch?v=v2EZUw2mvjs
