******Black Gold & Texas Tea Weekly Review****** 311014 Morning Conference Call with Albert Coccia and confirmed my pickups with help from Deborah McGarr’s. Once our two passengers were on board and yes the roof was open and yes I was playing Hollywood Nights Joe Cocker and we rocken rolled all the way to the Legion. Once there it wasn’t long before the ramp was installed and Oriette had her Honour Guard escort her up the Ramp. And took her place at the head of the table>>> With coffee in hand all was good with the world. Well I must say how much We Appreciate the gang who made it happen and on behalf of Don Albert and My Self “Thanks to Naomi Malo – John Burn - Steven Hynes – Ron Kappert- Shirley Chaif – Morven Kane And a Special thanks to Irita Vanaga from Piazza Pazza and to Frank from Bravi Restaurant in Longueuil for the delicious bolognaise Sauce. ( Yes it was definitely a hit with everyone there.) Hey guess what I won a prize in the drawings I won a Mandolin from Starfrit and Shirley Chaif ended up with a Starfrit Chopper thingy and there were Three Traveling Coffee Cups from Starbucks and a $25.00 Gas Card. Well I have to tell you the monies raised will go towards various projects we are working on or have plans to benefit the Members of the Legion and I Thank You from the bottom of my heart for your continued support and for all the fun we have getting togeather on Friday Mornings and for the Pasta Tuesdays where those of you who can not join us on Friday mornings get a chance once a month to get togeather with us at Piazza Pazza. Oh and Yes the 4th of November at 6 PM we will again join togeather and break bread and have a great supper served by Irita Vanaga excellent staff who just can’t do enough for us. So do join us at Piazza Pazza located in the Champlain Mall entrance off of Victoria and Lapiniere where you will find plenty of free well lit parking where we will join togeather for a most delicious meal. Well before I tie this report up I want to say a big Thanks to Albert Coccia my partner in crime for the all the hustling he did and to Don for helping with the clean up and to Steven Hynes for placing all of the tables back in order and to Debbie McGarr for wiping all the tables down and making sure we left the Legion ship shape.
