Black Greeks spent three days arguing over wearing letters to protest. Between all my Greek associates, none of the posts I have seen discussed any progressive D9 service initiative that would impact communities nationwide. The D9 includes well over a million Black professionals and entrepreneurs with individual platforms, but they are crying like their hands are tied. Black Greeks are just now coming to terms with the fact that BGLOs are non-profit businesses and not civil rights agencies. Though it may seem like a slap across the face, clear directives have been handed down from leadership. If you absolutely must disobey the clear and direct orders of your leadership, wear your colors. If you were about the cause, you would still be protesting regardless of whether or not the organization you joined wants to get their hands dirty. Most of yall aint ready to go to jail in your letters anyway. Stay focused on the prize.
