Black Men Run Historical Fact: The people who attended our Meet and Greet last Friday night were asked to sign a white BMR t-shirt when they arrived. No one told them what they were signing or why. Well, that shirt was the first prototype BMR shirt ever made and to this day it has never been worn. If you turn the shirt over you will see the web address and a #blackmenrun hash tag. When I showed the design to the group for the first time Maurice Granger suggested that instead of the hash tag we put A Healthy Brotherhood on the back and the rest is history. This signed shirt will be framed and added to the BMR archives. As the movement grows and we continue on this exciting journey this can serve as a lesson for life: Be fearless, iterate, evolve, and keep moving because no one has ever gotten anywhere by standing still #blackmenrun
