Black People—why do we destroy our own neighborhoods? Can you really handle the truth? Well, this behavior is the byproduct of an evil that was explained in the 1712, Willie Lynch letter: The Making of a Slave. For those that are not familiar with Willie Lynch, he was a British slave owner in the West Indies. He was invited to the colony of Virginia in 1712 to teach his methods to slave owners there. Lynch said then that Black slaves after receiving this indoctrination shall carry on and will become self-refueling and self-generating for HUNDREDS of years, maybe THOUSANDS. What did he believe would become self-refueling and self-generating for HUNDREDS of years? Well, the answer may be a little hard to swallow—are you sitting down? “Self-hatred!” Sadly, little has changed for us for over 300 years. Unfortunately today we as a people are fulfilling Lynch’s letter by disrespecting ourselves, killing each other, and destroying our own neighborhoods at an alarming rate.
