Black Ranges Football Competition On Tuesday the 23rd of July 2013, The Black Ranges Football Team walked to Central Park. We met up with our coach Sam Williams, as our first match was at 9:45am against Stawell West. They put up a good fight but our strong teamwork was no match for them, we won by a fair amount of points. Our second game was against Ararat West the Scores were pretty even but at the end of the game we were victorious. Our third match was against St Arnaud and we put up a good fight but in the end we lost by five goals, and Harry was the only goal kicker of that match. Our fourth match was against Ararat 800, this game we won by 40 points Top Goal kicker for that match was Aiden Graveson with three goals. Our last match was the best match we played all day we won against St Marys our leading goal kicker for that match was Harry Fenwick with a whopping 4 goals. At the end we had presentations and we came runners up to St Arnaud. Our leading goal kicker for Tuesday was Aiden Graveson. We had had a fantastic day and we couldn’t have done it without the help of the secondary students for umpiring and a big thanks to Sam and Toni For Coaching and organising the whole day for us.
