Black Widow update: the large Arachnid was not found. But we confirmed it was a Latrodectus (black widow) due to its webs and the small dead one we did find. Conclusion:hopefully it froze to death and is not hiding out in some unseen part of the scooter. Thanks to Daisy McConnells amazing husband who came over to help put me at ease. Do I get Feminist points deducted for having a man come over and save me? I vote no...
