The micrometer has an Ingress Protection 67 (IP67) rating, which means that components are resistant to debris and to submersion in liquid under standard conditions for up to 30 minutes.The micrometer’s electronic microprocessor can preset, hold, or limit measurement at any position, as well as set a temporary zero position and return to a true zero reading. An automatic off function helps preserve battery life when the unit is not in use.
