Black helicopters over Minneapolis in the dark. The most bizarre thing. Last night while a local friend and I strolled the street in South Minneapolis a black helicopter with no navigation lights nor any means of identification passed overhead. After making a loop in what appeared an identical pattern it returned over head seven times. It flew low, less than 300 feet, and did not utilize a spot light as one would expect if searching for a suspect. The black helicopters have been sighted on previous nights recently. They apparently are a training mission by the Department of Defense in cooperation with Minneapolis and St. Paul police. There is much speculation and controversy but no official word on the mission.
